Love and the 5 senses

From all forms of romantic love, after the initial crush and such there are correlations between the five senses and love. In such cases, when a person becomes initially attracted to someone they first see them. Their pupils dilate as their brain gives a boost of dopamine and oxytocin. Men have a higher likelihood of being driven by visual stimuli than women but still, from a visual standpoint, both genders are attracted to the senses. The next sense is hearing, when listening in to a partner, those who are attracted to one another are more likely to be attracted through certain tones of voices, women tend to be more attracted to men that have a deeper voice and a lower pitch whereas men tend to be more attracted to women that have a higher pitched voice and a softer tone. Like animals, humans are also attracted by smell. Humans release pheromones, as their noses rely on chemical signals released by the others. A study conducted by Claus Wedekind, a Swiss researcher, proposed the “sweaty T-shirt study” where a series of men each wore the same T-shirt for two days, and then the shirts were placed into identical boxes. Various women were asked to smell the shirts and to choose which shirts they were most sexually attracted to. The results showed that women were most attracted to men with the most genetic differences and different MHC (Major Histocompatibility Complex) which are important for the immune system. Touch and taste, those two main senses are the main ones during the relationship through intimate acts. Such acts release the hormone oxytocin which stimulates the feeling of love (Wikipedia).
